Hi. Im wanting to know what would be the best 4k tv at 43 inch to buy for sky q vewing and xbox one s gaming. Budget about 500 maybe a tad more.

If it was me id go 3" lower and maybe go for this Samsung gets good reviews

http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/samsung/ue40ku6000/sams-ue40ku6000

good reviews where exactly?

it's like the cheapest 4k tv samsung make, bottom of the 6 series. their 6 series 1080p tv's are good but i doubt their 4k ones are.

it's the 8 and 9 series that get good reviews.

at 43" just buy a hisense for £300 and be done with it. your not going to notice the difference at your budget. a 9 series 43" samsung costs around £1200.

Chart here shows that 1080p is barely noticeable compared to 720p, let alone 4k with your viewing distance and screen size.

Would save some case and get a 1080p if I were you.

That chart doesn't take into account of a lot of things, it's also been proven to be inaccurate.

For example 4K streams are a lot better in terms of picture quality compared to 1080p streams. 1080p streams are like highly compressed 1080p blu rays whereas 4k streams are like uncompressed 1080p blu rays in comparison. So people can and do notice a difference.

Also people have hugely different eyesight and vision, someone as blind as a bat may not notice the difference but someone with very good vision could straight away.

I must be really blind then as theres no chart posted:D.

I have one of these and the picture for the most part is fantastic. Where it falls down badly is with barker shades and black which are really rubbish and can spoil a program. I bought this last year and am looking to replace it with something better as far as the blacks etc is concerned.

Hisense.
