4x1Gb Baliistix on P5B deluxe

Hi,

Wanting to double my 2x1Gb Ballistix 6400 with another set of the same stuff.

Currently running them at 430Mhz. Anyone had any experiences with this combo of ram and mobo?

Am on WinXP-32 so I will need to upgrade to an OS 64 to fully utilise the ram.

I don't think you would have any issues.

The P965 boards can usually handle 4x1gb without any problems, especially at 430mhz.

I borrowed my friend's 2gb ballistix the other week to see how my rig would run with 4gb...I was very pleased

Ran 4gb 2.15v 4,4,4,12 @ 922mhz...and 4gb made a very large difference in the general performance of the puter.

same here - no problems - have 4x1gb 8500s ...

running at a nice 1040 MHz -5-5-5-8 .. 2.0V
