I've had a Powershot S2 IS since last July but I found it to be quite unreliable as far as batteries went, so I've not used it that much. It just kept saying "change the batteries" whenever I used it, so enough was enough and it's been off for repair twice in the last two months. Even top batteries like Duracell didn't power it for long! (I'm talking 5 minutes.)
No fault was found so I guess it must be fussy on batteries. I've been using Energizer Ultimate alkaline cells since getting it back last week and it's been OK so far. I've seen some Energizer 2500 Nimh with a 1 hour charger at a very well known computer shop and they're looking tempting at £25
Anyway, here are a few pics I took today from the Kit Car show at Stoneleigh. There was a 4x4 arena that was offering rides.
These aren't edited and I was only using auto mode. I was hoping to be well up on the S2's features by now but it didn't happen due to its unreliability
