hi guys

Got a SilverStone ft01 and really want to add a fan to take up 3 of the drive bays to help aid CPU cooling

was thinking along the lines of the bay covers that are used in the antec 1200 probably and then mount a fan behind it but no idea how to mount the fan (maybe supsend it) and where to find the drive bay covers.

any ideas on how to do this, where to find the parts or of anything else that would do the job?

Thanks Grant

Make your own? Scythe Kama bay is nothing more than some mesh bent into shape of a 5.25 bay with some metal added for reinforcement... I wanted one also but might just do it myself!

hi, l have a FT01 with a 5.25x4x3.25 bay adapter with a 120mm fan at the front / with a ssd adapter inside also a Silverstone product. This allowed me to take out the bottom HD bays now the 180mm fan is unrestricted and cools the GFX card down + PSU( when you think people change case fans upto 8 at £6 to £18) this works out just as cheap. Craftmanship is very good indeed -

IF you want one google it. ;)

that's how i've done mine, it looks a bit different now, but the same layout is still there...... runs very cold, nothing blocking the intakes, the Western HD is above and above that the BLU-RAY.

i expect the Acoustic sound pack wont work, but it does look nice.........plus that interior side panel is scratched so i have to cover that over

luckily for me that top intake fan is directly in line with the cooler and not far away either
