5600x or 5700x

Hi,
So i have just bought a 6800xt and at the moment my cpu is a ryzen 5 2600, so im now looking to upgrade it,
I know the 5700x will be faster but is it really worth the 80-90 pound extra?
Also are both these cpu's good enough for the 6800xt

no its not worth the extra £90 for gaming, yes both are good enough for a 6800xt

My other dilemma is do i go 5600 or 5700x/5800x. So is the 5700x/5800x worth the extra cost for just gaming? Amd if i go 5600 will iemd up needing to upgrade in a few years anyway?

Thats where my issue is, granted its only around £50 difference, but its the extra 2 cores worth it just solely for gaming

Yes they are. Reviews are not very indicative of gaming performance, they just give you a ballpark. There are specific heavy areas in games where the core utilization skyrockets, and thats where 6c start to show signs of struggling. I had an 11600k and some games I was hitting 90+% utilization (cyberpunk for example).
