How much money are you willing to spend?

6870 - similar speed to the 5870 (mostly slightly slower in benchmarks, but not much in it). Slightly kinder on power consumption and some new additions than 5870 (HDMI 1.4 I think) but all in all pretty much an optimised, very slightly slower 5870.
I need a good graphics card since the pc is used for gaming too.
Pc specs I will be getting
i7 950
Asus p6t se
6Gb corsair
850w corsair psu
In terms of performance the 6950 will take the lead over the 5870. The 6800 cards are mid range.
The 6870 is virtually on par with a 5870

i7 is better than snadybridge.
Sandybridge is here to replace current i3 and i5
istead of keep saying that proof would be good![]()
Wait for the 6950, the 13th.![]()

Sorry to hijack your thread need to answer the same question my self.
