Did anyone else find it extremely weird that they offered to give away the winning car from the Z4 v 350Z shoot-out as a prize, yet when the 350Z won all three 'events' they gave away the Z4 instead?

The 350z won all the events but they decided they liked the Z4 better. Doesn't make sense as I would rather had the 350Z :D

I thought the Smart monster car was classic though

It was a completely pointless bit of TV.
The tests were

1) Top Speed at the end of a straight
2) A power sliding test
3) A 1 lap Race around Cadwell Park

350Z wins all three tests and is over £2k cheaper but the Z4 is their pick. Why bother in first place !!!

Tbh that's a Top Gear sort of decision usually, except they often involve comedy.

Just 5th Gear copying again imo.

EDIT: And failing badly AGAIN, they should just make and stick to their own style.

I was going to say the same :D

I can't stand Fifth Gear. I enjoyed Jeremy's crack at them on Sunday :)

I would say irrespective of the winner it might look very odd to give away a 2nd 350Z this series. When VBH reviewed the 2007 350Z coupe earlier in the seriies I'm sure it was given away.

And I think Sir Mix A Lot said it best "Baby Got Back" - I've had my big bottomed 350z roadster less than a week and I love it to bits already :D

Remember when they compared the Golf GTI and the Skoda equivelant round a track, offering the winner as a prize. They decided they'd race them backwards around the track, and guess what, the Skoda won.

Clearly didn't want to give the Golf away.
