The 6-pin PCI-E power connector from my Antec Sonata PSU won't fit into the socket on the graphics card.

I have peered, poked and prodded and can't see why it won't go in.

Anyone else had this?

Had exactly the same prob with the same psu m8!
Tried and tried but it wouldnt go in, started to worry that i might snap it off.
I resorted to using the splitter cable that came with the gfx card, one regular 4 pin D connector to 2 pci-e ones. Worked fine :)

That is odd, what were the graphics you were both using?

Point Of View 6800GS - from Overclockers if I remember correctly. An Enermax PSU connector fitted perfectly. I don't seem to have any D socket or cable like the first responder.

Did you not get one of these with it, 8th one down. :)

Akasa PCI Express 6 Pin to 4 Pin Power cable adaptor for PCI-E Graphics Cards (CB-018-AK)

Nope - that would have been just the thing I needed.

It does seem that the physical tolerances on the Antec PSU connectors are the problem.
