Much better than expected!
We done some quick benchmarks against a 5850 and it beat it at everything.
i presume the drivers will increase performance over the next few months so it will probly beat it by a fair way by then

Yeah and the difference between the 5850 and 5870 was like 5% when clocked the same, plus AMD have optimized the shaders better in the 6*** series.
Either way bring on the benchmarks.
