Just upgraded a 4300 to a 6420 wow
it's not budging above 39c on full orthos and tat load
cooler is tuniq tower 120 arctic silver 5 @400x8=3200mhz.
on a ds3 3.3 idles at 22-24 c impressive.The 4300 was 38-39c idle
343x9=3000mhz and hit 60-65c on full load.

my e6420 is at 36c with World of warcraft running in background (1680x1050) windows media player and a cd ripping.

its on the intel hsf as well.

how much silver did you use i find a tad more works well with duo
i spread a thin layer about half a grain of rice accross the whole
surface then another half grain in the center and seated it.
