650 Pound virgin regains hundreds of pounds

He may lose it but he'll put it back on again.

he mentions about "now having strong foundations" becuase of his girlfriend, so that this time the weight will stay off.

Erm... reliance on someone else ISNT a strong foundation. As soon as they break up or have any kind of trouble in their relationship, he'll go back to food.

43 stone man loses 30 stone...

Then puts its all back on again

Such a shame, the guy went through an amazing transformation, then just piled it all back on again.

In before "Americans gonna American", but if that happened over here, it would be the NHS having to foot the bill for all the operations/care he needed once the weight was back on

Just genuinely shocked that someone who can go from 43 stone, see how decent they look at 13 stone, then think, I know, I'll go back to 40 stone...

It's sad to see him with all that weight back on. God knows what went on in his mind to get him back to that state, it's a self-imposed death sentence.

Have to wonder, would you prefer to:

1. Be fat, but have normal, taught skin over your body...
2. Be regular build, but have all those flaps of excess skin...

I think I'd prefer option 1 tbh...

What a transformation when he's at 13 stone! No homo, but he looks pretty good.

Gay ;)

But nah, I know what you mean, going from mahusive, to good looking bloke and then back to being mahusive is very strange! Surely he was a hit with the ladies?

Mind you, he did have loads of excess skin, and that was his downfall that led him to put the weight back on.

Depicts perfectly just how unsustainable weight loss and dieting is most of the time. Most of people diet in hope that one day, when they reach that target weight they will be able to live normally. One day, they hope, gluey shakes and salad meals after hours in gym will be thing of the past. They will be able to allow themselves that pizza, ice cream or slurpie. They won't. Their metabolism will be shot forever. In case of most fatties losing weight - they starve and sweat just to then starve and sweat for the rest of their life. So most, when they reach that perfect weight, will make a choice - do I change everything in my life just for external appearance, spend most of my life and spare time maintaining it or do I want to be happy and do what I like to do, not move much, eat things I like, etc etc. This guy is prime example of that. Lost weight. Was he happy? No. Better fat and happy than slim and miserable?

How can ANYONE be happy like that?

That is purely self-indoctrination, it was just easier to do, so it was i guess happier in a way.

The guy clearly spent a tonne (no pun intended) of time trying to get thin, he obviously did not enjoy being a pointless waste of life (i do not enjoy fat people, I wont hide it).

This.

Fit people are just as addicted to their lifestyle as this guy is to his eating one.

Getting fit to attain a certain body is a sure fire way not to enjoy it as scumbag brain will never be content with how much muscle you have, or how far you can run etc.

The enjoyment is in the process of doing it, seeing yourself improve. Just look at Olympians who train for years to get that gold medal, then when they achieve it they suddenly think... ok now what?

Without being a zen master, you need to learn to enjoy the journey not the destination.

People were discussing my weight loss last night (4 stone) and one of them told me about a bloke he works with who was massive, got down to a proper weight with a gastric band, was then told he could have the fat removed and this scared him so much he had the band removed and put all the weight back on.
