just made the jump from an nVidia AGP 6600GT to a PCI-E ATI 3650.
Its my first ATI card, and I'm liking it so far but having trouble getting text to look right.
With the 6600gt text was all crisp and clear, but with this new 3650 everything seems a tiny bit blurred and text is uncomfortable to read.
Anyone got any good ideas as to what i can do?

cheers

p.s. is there something better than the rather rubbish CCC to control ATI cards?

Check the refresh rate, try 60Hz.

already checked refresh rate. its at 75Hz (as it should be).
just had a thought.....

.....reset the settings on my monitor. It was all set up to look good with my 6600GT. I've reset it to default and everything looks much better now.

... the old ones removed?

ooops nope. still running my old version of windows which had all my old nvidia drivers (as well as drivers for my old mobo). Just installed all the new drivers over the top of the old ones. Not the way to do it i know. Will reformat and start with a fresh install of windows over the weekend.
