Wow so if I have read correctly what rexton linked if all three were over locked (660ti,670 and a 7950) the 7950 will compete with the 670? And that's in bf3? I thought nvidia cards perform better in bf3 lol.

just that the 660ti is way too overpriced! And the oc potential on the 7950 is nuts just so much more headroom. I might have to leave the green team and join the reds
(currently using 570 gtx)For gaming it is Intel all the way. The Intel Core i CPUs they pretty much outperform every AMD CPU in the same price range on gaming performance (when both are using same graphic card). In CPU demanding games like mmos, even the high-end AMD CPU with a heavy overclock would struggle to deliver even half the frame rate of an overclocked i5.yeah they are expensive like, but amd are cheap on all fronts even on cpus, ive got just over a week til i get paid, probly just buy which ever is cheapest (one will have to be on offer as there the same at r.r.p)
i basically want the best and keeping the option of an overclock is good for when new games etc come out, i might get to the point i want to oc everything as my cpu etc isnt oc'd yet either, but thanks for the advice its really helped
