670 Stuttering again...

I'm happy with my gigabyte 7970 windforce I hit 120fps in BF3 on high and between 60-80fps on ultra, and that's not much higher than stock at the moment!
1150mhz core is what I will probably use on a day to day basis.
Regards

It might not help but it's worth a try, if you haven't already -

Go into your BIOS and disable the intergrated GPU on your 3570K. It helped a lot with the stuttering on my rig (same CPU/GPU and a Z77 mobo)

There's nothing wrong with the drivers. It sounds as though you need to learn how to apply the correct settings. Stuttering is a non-issue.

Your issue is fixed and you want OC to allow you to return a perfectly functioning card just because you want a 7970. If that happens, what then? Will you come back a few weeks later and give it back for a 680 as you won't like the AMD drivers?

I beg your pardon? How rude, the issue is only fixed in a few games, some of the games I play the problem still persists. So please take your opinionated persona elsewhere. I never said the card was at fault I said the drivers have caused my problems. Please leave my thread.

Have you disabled the GPU on the 3570k? Its helped me and McBain in this thread;

I got rid of my 680 a few months ago because of the stuttering issues and see it still hasn't been fixed fully. I play driving games and enable vsync to make for a smooth gaming experience with no tearing and what ever I tried I just couldn't get that with the 680. The stuttering drove me mad and in the end just cut my losses and sold it on and ordered a 7970. I've not looked back since and the games just run as they should at about the same performance but stutter free. Just my 2p worth!

Fortunately my 670 doesn’t suffer from this stuttering issues.

The only two things I can suggest snodges tries is:

1. Flash card to latest bios.
2. Use the latest beta drivers, 304.79.

If you have already tried this, then I sympathies Either wait to see if Nvidia have anything up their sleeve when the WHQL drivers are released or get a replacement.

Seems to have fixed the WoW issue, still wish to switch this 670 for a 7970.

Well that's a start I suppose ;),next question is did you enable vsync in the global profile or just in the wow profile ? If you just did it in the wow profile then all your other games may still be using adaptive vsync.Make sure you activate it in global profile ,but check any of your individual game profiles that you play to make sure it's using either the global setting you have selected or is set to on in the individual profile.

And as the poster above says try the 304.xx drivers,they are some of the best in a long while.
