Hello and good morning everyone, at the moment i have a 6800 ultra agp graphics card and i was wondering is it worth upgrading to a 7800gs agp card?

Is there any difference in quality in games?
Is it worth it?

If anyone could leave me ssome feedback i would be gratefull, thx

There isn't that much of a difference in performance, the 7800gs might be clocked a little higher but unless you buy one of the Gainward cards(basically a 7800gt in all but name) they have the same number of pixel pipelines and don't offer enough of a difference for the amount they will cost to upgrade.

Depending on what your current system is it may be about as cheap to buy a PCI-E motherboard and a 7800gt. If it is either socket 754 or socket 939 then you could do so, if socket 939 you could get the ASRock Dual SATA II which has both AGP and PCI-E slots.

As said above. If your stuck on socket A then stay with the 6800 ultra its still a cracking card and the 7800 will not be that much better. If your on socket 754 or 939 then a pci-e board and card is the way to go and you get sooo much more for your money.
