6800GS AGP 128mb *Cant find anywhere*

Hi there,

After fixing a 6800GS from a friends Rig i was handed it as a payment for some other work i done. Anyway i just cant find it anywhere on the net. Ive serched for ages and nothink, just 256mb versions.

If searched everywhere for the info on it as i plan to volt mod it, also would like to see its spec.

Its a Gainwood 6800GS 128mb
U guys seen or know of this card.

are you sure its not a 6800le or nu ? i used to have a gainward 6800 that looked EXACTLY like that well before gs was about ?

i always thought the whole point of the GS version was the 256mb ram as the nu was the card with 12 pipes and 128mb.
 
What you have there is actually a regular 6800 card, not a GS. The 'GS' stands for golden sample on Gainward cards (slightly higher clockspeeds than reference spec).

The 6800nu is a fair bit better than the 6600gt.
 
I take it i can unlock the pipes on this card. Im glad it hits more than a 6600GT, i overclocked it with Coolbits to auto detect and i hit 10000 in 3dmark 03 i think altho dont hold me to that as i cant remember. Its on the side as ive not finished the other rig yet.

I plan to have it on Water and volt Mod so hopefull if i can unlock it will be ideal for low res gaming for when i got back to Camp.

You can use rivatuner to unlock the extra pipes and vertex pipes:)

Looking good, supose it will be hitting near to = to a GT then altho only 128mb Ram :(. Cheers :D
