Well my one doesn't and some other review sites like tpu have had the same problems so I wouldn't say ALL 6950s can do 900 on the core.

Whats its max clock?

The maximum I managed was 865mhz. Performance was barely ahead an overclocked 5870. Any higher on the core and games would crash.

Did you also check the core temp, the heatsinks are probably not good enough for a high overclock. May have to get a third party

8.790.6.2, 8.790.6.0 and 8.800, the former being the 10.12a drivers on AMD's website. They still appear as 10.11 though.

Temperature wasn't an issue when overclocking.

Won't any voltage tweaking raise the temps even higher though?,i hear they are already unusually high (for amd/ati) at load!.
