6950 cf score on 3d mark 11

Why is my graphics score low? ive overclocked to from 810 - 840 core and 1250 - 1325 mem, do I need to adjust any voltages as I did this through ccc overdrive and it doesnt give an option.

hi dont think its 2 far of the mark. i also have cf 6950 and are not unlocked, but are clocked to840.....i score 9800 in 3dm 2011

I think your score is just normal. You don't have HT on an i5 2500K so you won't be able to get over 10k overall score. Just look into the graphics score and ignore the HT, because HT is useless in games - still too few games can utilize more than 3 physical cores of the CPU.

Yeah the CPU is fine, but as I said in op its graphics score I'm bothered about, how do I improve that?

Never tried 3d mark myself before, but are you running the benchmark on fullscreen if there's an option?
