The only thing that stopped me getting one was the second M.2 drive...

Why the heck does it go at a 90-degree angle to the board (outwards). Is this supposed to give better heat dissipation or something?

Probably.

I'll only be running one M2 (waiting on a 960 EVO).

I'm more interested in DDR4-4000+ memory speeds.

Yeah good point tbh. I've had a 512GB 960 Pro on back order since before Christmas... managed to bag it for £249 on amazon (direct from them) but waiting for stock is getting to be a bit of a joke.

£249 - that's a bargain compared to what they're typically going for (not to mention the profiteers on ebay)!

This simply highlights how good a deal the 6700k bundle was just after Xmas... virtually identical performance for nearly £200 less and a decent AIO thrown in.

Yeah I know. I've used PC Part Picker and kept a very good eye on pricing/trends for all the parts of my new build.:)

Feels like I'm trading in stocks at some points, just waiting for a good price before I buy but sometimes I wait too long and it ends up going up in price :o
