Seem quite pricey, now have to wait for the benchies to see if they're worth it.

edit : Well the early benchmarks seem to indicate that the 7900 GTX is faster than a 1900 XTX without AA but with the eye candy on the 1900's are still slightly faster?

Looks like its going to be ATI for me. I can see the 7900 GT competing with the x1900xt at £317 vs £280 or even the x1800xt for that matter

I thought the Leadtek GeForce 7900 GT stats were decent till i noticed there the same as the GT extremes. Gibbo you might want to edit them before someone snags one later.

Note the 7600GTs are up now, look like a lovely mid-range card for those that don't want an X800, x1600 or a 6800GS. Imo there was a real gap there!

Hmm.... not overly impressed. The X1800XT 512MB is cheaper than a lot of 256MB GT's and probably on par/faster given the way it could beat an overclocked 7800GTX. One thing I will say is - omfg, those GTX's. Who made those core clock specs?!?!!?

im in the market for a new card in a week or so, so its either the x1900xt or the 7900gt for me,

Need to see some reviews though.

Currently run an ati x850xt at pe speeds, i know how to tweak ati cards pretty well so may stick with them lol.

I had to laugh at the size of the GT fans in comparison to the GTX fans!!
is it me or are the GT fans really small? or are the fans the same as the 7800GT it's just the card has got so much bigger!!

I would think the GTs are a little noisy still, big fans are always better.

Only one answer - X1900XT - no matter how fast the GT is, it will not compete with a 512MB XT, I can pretty much guarantee that and it will cost the same roughly.

how strange that link works fine for me, yet if i go onto the oc's site i can't find the 7900's for love nor money, worth upgrading from my x1800xt 512mb to either a 7900gt or gtx?
