As the title says, just built a new rig (not one on spec) installed 8.1 went to install drivers - Hardware not detected.

Tried everything, windows updates, tried another pci slot in my X79 Deluxe, no clue whatsoever. Creative have drivers for the Titanium HD for windows 8.1but as previously said, it wouldn't detect the hardware during setup, see below:

Any idea whats happening here guys, its very frustrating, felt like ive totally hit a wall.

http://www.hardwareheaven.com/pax-d...r-suite-2013-v1-10-default-tweak-edition.html Try these, Creative need to update their drivers for Windows 8.1 which knowing how bad Creative are at supporting it's products most likely will never happen so its customers have to rely on 3rd party support. I stopped buying Creative products years ago because of this and I see nothing has changed in the meantime, frankly I'm amazed they are still about and still trading.

Totally agree you, creative have gone downhill the past few years, will try this fix also.

By the way what other sound cards (bar creative) would be able to drive my 360's, im thinking of ASUS?

Are these any good?

Thanks

EDIT: Tried those drivers, no avail, still wont detect the sound card, looks like il have to buy a new one. I certainly wont be going for creative this time round, there terrible.
