8.5 days smoke and drink free

Nicotine withdrawal peaks at 48-72 hours, he is beyond that now.
They say that once you are through that the craving is gone, its then just down to your own will power and in some instances peer pressure, to stop doing it.

this is the problem, once you think you have beaten it, is when you let your guard down and the temptation creeps in.

I forgot to add that this habit of mine has been consistent for the last 10 years. I've never gone more than a week without either but it does feel good i must say.

As for the no fap, i'll be entirely honest and say that i do it every other day and once you do, you know, the business, i do feel kinda exhausted and flustered so i do intend on cutting it down severely. It's hard though because it's been a regular thing for me for the last 17 years. One thing at a time though. At the moment it's fags, beer and cut down on **** food, then move onto cutting down the fap.

Trigger, you got a link to the bb.com thread?

Trust me, you could go months, even years, and if you have already hit that tipping point before you stopped, it will never leave you, i can't explain it, but it can come back like nothing else.

Weird isn't it! I remember my ex-father in law telling me that even though he had quit for 30 years he often got a craving having his last cup of tea before he went to bed.

Everyone's different i guess. I do know of people who haven't smoked in years still crave the occasional fag and others don't. Also the fact that i haven't had any cravings at all but i sense they will come in the near future. Weird as it sounds, but i reckon i'm going to be one of the type that finds it harder with time compared to someone that initially finds it hard in the first 3 days but gets easier with time.
