I'm going to be buying some more RAM soon, and I don't know whether to spend the few extra pounds on 8-8-8-24 rather than 9-9-9-24, both @ 1600Mhz and 8GB.

Will there be any noticeable performance increases if I opt for the 8-8-8-24? I know that lower timings mean that the RAM should be faster, but I'm unsure as to how much faster timing differences can be.

My 8GB is 7/7/7/24 :p

Didn't buy them for the timings. They were the right colour :)

What makes that more amusing is that I don't have any case window.

lol... I made sure I got black memory.. I couldn't stand blue.. once again.. even though blue/red was about £10 cheaper and as above.. no one see's inside my case.
