Just want to make sure of something before I carry on building...

New motherboard (MA770T-UD3) has the usual 24-pin ATX power connection, and an 8-pin power connection - described in manual as 2x4.

My PSU is from my previous system and has a 4-pin plug, in a square configuration.

Am I correct in thinking that this 4-pin plug just slots into one half of my 8-pin socket on the motherboard?

Advice appreciated guys!
