8800 battery life

is the battery on this phone really that bad people, i know from reviews that it aint top notch. Also, ive been looking at the extended battery you can get, the 1000mha thingy one, i know its not a nokia but i was thinking that if a batter battery was available then surely nokia would have put it in the 8800 in the first place. any ideas???

I don't notice it because I put the phone on charge every other night it comes with this really cool charger. The phone comes with a spare battery.

Don't bother with the 1000mha battery I've heard it's rubbish. I've got the 1000mha sitting in the house I haven't even used it.

I keep my phone on charge overnight and in the car, battery is always indicated full... however, once the battery meter drops, it'll be like a Motorola phone, it'll go from full to low battery within a few hours

The battery life is indeed poor on the 8800. Standby only time is great, around 3 days, use it once for a short call and that drops down to about a days worth of use.

nice one fella's, should be getting my 8800 on fri, using a k750 at to mo and the battery is fantastic so I think is going to be a shock. Oh well, just have to take two batterys about with me until they make a better one

silly question while there's an 8800 thread about, i know it comes with the charger, but thats just a pain as far as i'm concerned, will it charge from a standard nokia charger?

yep it will charge from a standard nokia charger the phone is great though ive got 2 myself and 2 spare which im gonna be selling soon lol
