8800 GTS OC2 640MB - Where'd it go???

Why, what possible use is a 'life time warrenty' when computer technoligy moves on so fast anyhow. You won't be using those cards 3 years from now, let alone, 5 or 10, or 20.

When your old 7900GT breaks down and you get a 8800gt as a replacement

This is very true, I had an ATI 9500 pro that went on me, sent it back to ATI and I got a 9800 back

Surely resale value will also remain that bit higher due to it being guaranteed to be in working or order or the option to send it for repair / replacement if its not?

I have an exact same model GPU, as U I'am looking into upgrading to an 3870*2 would u consider making a purchase from me ?, its nearly NEW as from November 07 , reasing is that I have a crossfire Board and want 2 off the above mentioned GPUs one now other future'ish...

Sorry siege I would but i cant go spending the extra dough really. Im thinking about sending my one back to who I got it from for a refund and changing it for either the 512 GTS or a 9600.

I would have gone for SLi as well but i use Dual monitors and so far every post i have read about dual monitors and SLi is that is doesnt want to work!!!!

unless anyone wants to buy 2 x 19" Benq monitors from me???
