It's possible to run the 8800 GTX on hiper type-r 580w psu?? I'm really not sure cause 8800 gtx required two connectors. T hanks for help. :)

erm i would reccoment getting a higer watted psu and since carld d just told me hyper are unrelible it could damage the g80 i think

Reliability aside (not great), the Hiper is quite capable from a wattage POV. If it doesn't have PCIe connectors some of the GTX's come with molex adapters to power it up.

yer i just got told about molex addaptors in another thread lol are these all the rage :D
Where you been? They've been around ages. ;)

Not all the GTXs come with the adapters, XFX don't. I think BFG does. OcUK stock them IIRC.

The hiper type r has two proper pcie connectors so no need for adaptors. It will most likely be fine, no psu manufacturer is perfect. I've heard of plenty of antecs, tagans and silverstones going up in smoke. I'm using one and haven't had any problems.

It'll do fine but I have seen afew threads popping up lately about the Hypers going bye bye.

But then you only ever hear about the bad things :p

Should be fine with the GTX as they are Crossfire Certified for x1900/x1950 XTX, and i bet they use less power them 2x of them. :D
