8800 GTX are they still good?

I have just upgraded from 2x 8800 gtx cards in sli to a gtx 580 as one stopped working and I can honestly say, hand on heart, i preferred my 2 8800s!
I'm running a dell 24" @ 1920 res and play BFBC2 on full graphics. The rendering was far superior on my 8800s and wish i had bought another for £50 instead of splashing out £400 for the 580.

A 580 is miles ahead of 2 8800gtx cards. How you havent noticed the difference is beyond me. Do you play with your eyes shut?
 
Mine plays bops just fine at 1900x1200 with eye candy turned down (bit slower than gtx tto)....upgrading soon though as i fancy giving crossfire a go with the 6950s and a sb setup :)
Wont be parting with it though just moving to my 2nd rig :)
