8800 psu min requirements

Im about to order 2 x GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB and was wondering if my present 500w power unit will run these, it is a Zalman,its around 2-3 years old.Do these cards need seperate power leads from psu.

I am going to be spending 2 grand and i want to be clear in my mind that when i order stuff-It it is correct.

easyrider- as you go on the net a lot, can you recommend a very good small fibre splicer to me and also what jnt closure i should use in a jf10/for a 192 fibre.

I wonder if Evga are going to release the 756 model over here as at moment i see its only 640.
Also what would be make to go for Evga,BFG or Leadtek
