Hi Chaps.

I was given a brand new 7800GTX 256MB Graphics Card yesturday, chucked it in and I could play most of my games now at MAX details like never before but some games like World in Conflict play maxed out to a certain degree but I want it maxed out in DX10 style and need more power.

So i've got £105 to spend on a decent DX10 graphics card and i'm looking at the 8800GS 384MB and the 3850 Pro 512MB and need some advice before I take the plunge.

Here's my specifications as well.

Arctic Power 500 Watt Power Supply.
AMD AM2 X2 4200+ 2.2GHz 1MB Cache.
Gigabyte GA-MA69VM-S2 Motherboard.
Corsair XMS2 PC2-6400C5 5-5-5-12 800MHz Memory.
Western Digital 250GB SATA-II 16MB Cache Hard Disk.
nVidia GeForce 7800GTX 256MB PCI-Express.

9600 GT will be all you need at that res. Both good cards bang for buck. But if thats the res your going to be playing at sicking to (no new monitor about to be bought) stick to the 3850 or the 9600 and the 9600 gets my vote.

Will upgrade to a 19" TFT but the max res i'll ever play at is 1280x1024. 9600GT sounds an absolute beast of a card so does the 3870XT.

Trying to find some reviews about the 9600GT looks like that's the card i'm going to get.

I have seen a review were 2 9600 in sli beat a x2.On a NV chipset mobo but stil it inpressed me.And the added bonus of a hdmi port on the back of most is kwel. And it will handle a 19" at native res on all games bar crysis of cause.

My PSU came with a six pin and a eight pin pci-express power converter that connects to a molex cable will that be a problem? it's a 500watt.
