Yes they can be overclocked use something like rivatuner.

As far as im aware they are 96sp cards, ( Asus did actually make some 48sp cards ) but could have either DDR2 or DDR3 memory, the DDR3 version would be better.

Please dont spend a fortune on one tho :p
