So Intel have indeed brought out the big guns with the launch of the i9 12-18 Core CPU's.

In response to this I have designed some very flexible high end bundles for our customers to take advantage of. If you don't want to buy a pre overclocked bundle then of course you can buy the delidded binned CPU's and overclock yourself. I am doing all the OC on these ones myself.

The minimum cooling for these beasts is a custom triple rad solution and above, of course a quality PSU and either ASUS Rampage 6 Xtreme, Rampage 6 Apex or ASrock X299 OC Formula motherboards as these have the best VRM cooling available right now and overclock very well too.

OK so lets get onto the bundles and show some bench marks:

Each bundle you can choose the following CPUS:

7900X @ 4.8ghz, 7920X @ 4.7ghz, 7960X @ 4.6ghz, 7980XE @4.6ghz.

Motherboards: ASUS R6E, ASUS R6A or ASrock X299 OCF.

Memory: 8Pack dimms 32gb, 3200-3866mhz (4000mhz+ on 7900X)

Cooling: EK fluid gaming 360mm Kit or above...........

Here we have none AVX prime stability testing for each CPU using an Asetek 360mm rad so obviously you will get better temps with a custom solution and this is very much worse case scenario.

Here are some bench mark tests of what performance the end user can expect from these bundles. I used Cinebench R15, Realbench and Terragen to show CPU performance in heavy duty applications.

First the 18 7980XE 4.6ghz

Now the 16 Core:

12 Core:

and Finally 10 Core at 4.8, 4.9 and with 2 cores at 5.0ghz.

Any questions about these benches or tests obviously let me know.

I am sure you will all recognise that these bundles have serious power and Intel have truly taken back the performance crown.

Great Benches!! Thanks for these..

I would love to see this with Chess..when you like to bench no matter how many cores/threads you have this engines will run them all @100%
There is no install needed and just type -> bench 1024 36 26 (where value 36 are the threads from a i7 7980XE for example..so you change this value to your cores/threads you want to run)
When you need more information, just ask..
You can see my testings here: http://www.ipmanchess.yolasite.com/amd---intel-chess-bench.php

Before you start and are interested to run this Chess-bench download right verion : asmFish 2017-05-22
bmi2
version for Intel ..pop version gives higher nodes/sec. on new AMD Ryzen,Threadripper,EPYC cpu's!
There is also a Linux version when needed..

Thanks in advance..maybe you want to keep it for later testings also ;)
Kind regards,
Ipman.

@8-Pack
Out of interest, why are there no pre-binned 7820x CPUs in the range?
I would have thought a highly clocked 8 core would be interesting for high end gaming rigs. I realise it's got less PCIe lanes than it's 6900k predecessor, but I would have thought it might be capable of better clocks (especially if you can get 4.9GHz out of the 10 core.)
