He's saying imagine the kind of world we'd live in if the people who bombed this and that were able to get through to us and terrorise us. If you re-read the quote properly he simply makes the mistake of referring to the Pennsylvania flight being shot down by terrorists. This doesn't necessarily mean shot down with bullets, but being brought down by force.

What? There is a crater which shows undoubtedly that the plane struck the ground, it was wasn't blown up in the sky. It scattered its debris for miles because it probably hit the ground at immense speed. A high speed explosive impact plus light weight aluminium and steel, what do you think is going to happen?

Read the website again, read the quote again. He used "shot down" to mean "the terrorists crashed it". Otherwise why would he be condeming them and saying it would be a bad thing if they were in charge? Rumsfeld has always had a somewhat comical grasp of english.

Pretty obvious that he is talking about the terrorists here, who by hijacking that plane, were responsible for its eventual crashing. Even though from the evidence available it was the attempted rescue by the passangers that caused it.

Unless of course the CIA faked all of those phone calls too...

The thing you need to consider is that United 93 didn't crash in the way most airplanes crash. Normally when an airplane crashes the pilot is doing his damndest to land the thing. This wasn't the case here.

Unless of course you think that the air crash investigators were also got to by the CIA?

In short, this email message is a load of baloney and it should not be forwarded. Hoaxes that perpetrate falsehoods about real terrorist attacks are especially heinous. One wonders at the mentality, and motives, of the imbeciles who create hoaxes of this nature. This hoax message dishonours the memory of those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks. Please do not forward it.
