9800xt to what?

I have 9800xt ,friend's selling his 6800 gt.what would be a fair price? or would I be better going for something faster for a bit more money?

thanks smids I dont mind paying another 45 quid for the x850 xt if its that much better? considering my 9800 cost about 350

so now we have pci or agp so with my mobo has to be agp so fastest for that is what now? and whats the take on ati v nvidia these days. so long since i upgraded im lost
