A big thank you to the guy who owns the cafe near junction 24 of the M1 and the trucker network

Cool Story Bro! :) I had a similar experience.

When I hit a bull on the M4 at 1am 2 years ago I thought I was going to die! It was freezing cold and my battery was dead on my phone. Car was smashed up and was smoking everywhere, thought it might blow up. Anyway, 5 minutes later, a truck driver (Sainsburys HGV) pulled over.

He ran towards me and checked to make sure I was ok. Put me in his lorry and called the police / ambulance and my brother. I was in pretty good health, only a few cuts and bruises but was in a bit of a shock. You don't normally see cows / bulls on the motorway at 1am!

Anyway, he really saved me. Few days later he called me and asked if I was all ok etc. Top top bloke! Will never forget it.

:)

There are some nice people out there. Would any of you stop and help a random person who has broken down on the motorway? In the back of your mind you think you should but 90% of the time you just don't as you assume they will be ok.

Tbh the guy should not be thanked, he obviously knew what he was doing by giving out free bacon, before the op knows it he will be an addict, at first he will try to eat it only on sunday mornings but soon he won't be able to get enough of the stuff, that is how it all starts!

It's these sorts of stories that should be on local news, rather than my headteacher talking about why he closed the school... Good on him, and every person who has stopped to help others.
