Hi! My neighbour wants to sell me his Peugeot 106 XN Zest 2 1.1L
I'm not interested in this car, as I personally have a Golf on my mind.
However, I know someone who is interested in the Peugeot but just wanted to ask if the price my neighbour is offering is worth the car!

It's a 1.1L
Power steering
MOT until Sept 08
TAX until March 08
Airbags
Full service history incl reciepts, MOT cerificate, orginal documents
Panasonic CD system and JBL sub included
Original Peugeot Alloy Wheels
Clean inside and out

Now my neighbour wants to sell it for £2000 and says he's willing to go down to £1700. I'm thinking, for £1700 my mate who is interested can buy a better car for the money. But the question i'm asking, is the £1700 worth the specs above?

Age, mileage? For £1700 I'd expect it to be an 02/03 with about 30k on the clock?
 
XN is pre-face lift and Zest 2 is facelift trim level's if I remember correctly?

As said, I'd exect it this Centuary with it in pretty good nick, thats low milage d and GTi money :p
 
Cars that sized are pretty sought after, it'll go for that quite easily IF it's in good shape and the miles are not too high. We paid £800 for a high miler Y plate Zest 1 for my mum, cars of the same age and trim but lower miles were going for £1200ish.
