A/C units for bedrooms etc...

I've heard some are bad due to noise, others due to the lack of air they push

who has an A/C unit... what make and model and how would you rate it ?

if you've got a top notch one thats absolutly magic please let me know, im melting.

for your information i searched the forum, didnt find anything so figured i'd call on experiance from people who own the actual product not hyped up spiel from the makers

if you dont like the thread, the obvious answer is not to post in it.

[edit] thanks to those who have suggested avoiding the portable ones... i was wondering how they got rid of the heat they produced... like firing the warmth out the back and the cool out the front and saying the job was reet[/edit]

oh ok let me jsut get in contact with the UNI and ask them to change their fire regulations meaning i can leave the kitchen door open... no better still i'll knock a wall down in halls

i wish some people emailed me for my life story before pretending to know everything about me... outside temp was between 20-25... but thanks for driving to stafford with your thermometer on the day of posting

im comfortable in anything between 65-75 deg F in the UK

the power im not too fussed about as its all included at the moment but will be extra next year when i move into a house... i may well just have to stick with a fan..

was kinda hoping some people around here might have a decent stand alone unit
