I have the following problem :

Recently my 7800GT packed up on me, since the card has been dis-continued it look like I might get a refund for it. My current rig is capable of SLI, my budget is around the £220 mark.

Even though I think SLI is a bit of a Con. I have a choice of the following:

2 x BFG 3DFuzion GeForce 7600 GT 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail Price: £97.95 (£115.09 Including VAT at 17.5%) /each

or single gfx cards:

EVGA GeForce 7900 GT 256MB GDDR3 HDTV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-006-EA) Price: £161.95 (£190.29 Including VAT at 17.5%)

PowerColor ATI Radeon X1800 XT 512MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-048-PC) Price: £199.95 (£234.94 Including VAT at 17.5%)

Connect3D ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (3056) (GX-047-CO) Price: £179.95 (£211.44 Including VAT at 17.5%)

What one would you go for?
 
@ that price the X1800 is NOT an option as the X1900 is the superior card, and with all the problems of the 7900gt's at the moment... the X1900 is the only option worth considering...
 
Lol this topic made me laugh cos I bet you knew the answer all along! At the prices right now nothing can touch the x1900xt buy 3 :P lol!
