I've gotten seriously far behind with processing pictures so been playing catch up today. Thought I'd share some of my efforts:- (C&C appreachiated)

Love the colour in pic 1 and 3 :)

Can't wait to get to grips with my camera after I read Understanding Exposure over Xmas!

i really really like #4, it's just brilliant.

one criticism is that a few of them don't seem quite horizontal, i always find that off putting.

I've had the 10-22 for a while, but i did buy a 24-105f4 L IS out there.


Which ones look wonky? First 4 should be horizontal, but the 5th has quite a bit of perspective so doesnt look level but i'm pretty sure it is and the 6th is obviously off but i like the angle... It's quite funny actually but my monitor is a little wonky so sometimes its hard for me to tell! :D

Pictures 4 & 6 were taken in Beijing! The others were in Shanghai and Hong Kong. I spent a month backpacking around China and now have a mountain of about 5000 pictures to sort through!
 
Excellent pics Yak. I particularly like the composition of no.4. The solitary figure definitely adds to the pic, and gives the eye something to settle on. Excellent lighting and contrast too.

The only criticism I have of no.3 is it looks like the buildings on the right have been cropped off the edge, which is a shame as otherwise it's a lovely shot. Taking this into account, I prefer no.1 out of the cityscape shots you've posted. Lovely colours over the water, if only slightly overweighed to the left with that blue light.

Looking forward to seeing some more ;)
 
a very nice set of photo's ther yak, especially like no.2, no.1 i think needs the buildings straightening but that's my opinion.
