** A Day at OcUK - Stelly's New System - EPIC CUSTOM BUILD **

Thanks for the mention Stelly, sorry I was not very chatty I had lots to catch up on from my visit to Taiwan and was jet lagged. Still nice PC and greetings from Spain :)

That is pretty epic and nice to see a system build in action especially the untidy clutter of wires at the back that we're rarely get to glimpse as I never know quite what to do witth them! One question though, why did Stelly need a Revo drive if he has the SSD boot drive?

because there was an empty slot on the motherboard.

and empty slots just look silly.

Couple of questions though, sorry if they have already been asked but for some reason the page for me isn't loading properly (1) why did Stelly need a Revo drive if he has the SSD boot drive and (2) what is that circuit board behind the motherboard?

1) using the Revo for the pagefile.sys, and possibly hiber.sys, and also going to use this as the main place for steam too...

2) That is the battery for the RAID card

Nice one Stelly..

What's your thoughts on the case?

Love the case, easy to work inside, lots of room, as you can see we fitted the following in the front:

Fan controller
Bluray Player
Water Res
5 Bay Backplane
and a 240 Rad

Also had no issue putting the fans and a 360 rad at the top, we had to bend the top grate to ensure that the fans didnt rub on it, and the dust cover is easy to remove and clean...

The build quality is great as well, the rubber covers on the cable managment hole (dont know what they are called) stay in place, and feel like they are not going to snap off.

The price is great as well for the case that you get feels sturdy and well built, I have had my eye on the case for a while.... definately would recommend...

What's the 5 bay HDD hot swap thing?

this.

we are expecting a few more some point this week :)

in honesty. I am not a huge fan of the case. the looks don't do it for me, but different tastes and all that.

after actually getting to build a big system inside it, I would say it rivals even my own TJ11 for easy of use. there is so much room to work in.

only downside for me is there wasn't enough cable management points on the rear of the motherboard tray.

other than that, it is very well built and you would really struggle to get more in a case :p
