A & E on a Saturday night

I think you should wait till morning, sleep it off see how you feel.

Hopefully by then it might have gone further in the canal with all that tossing and turning of the head. Then you can register for a course in sign language.

But on a serious note, who cares about the drunks and if its busy, this is your health man.

Since this has happened more than once I suggest buying better ear plugs. Also earplugs really shouldn't be getting sucked into your ear canal, there's something wrong there.

Man up and use a vacuum cleaner to suck it out.

Funny thing is it'll probably be tweezers or that to get it out. I know they have the equivalent of vacuum cleaners for your ears in the ENT department, very unpleasant experience but wholly satisfying.... odd

I got a mobile phone stylus stuck in my ear a short while ago. I was 'cleaning' out my ear in a moment of boredom when the end of the stylus came off.

Went to A&E and was seen within half an hour. They used long tweezers to grab it.

A very embarrassing day was made worse after being treated by a stunning Irish female doc. :(

Foam/silicone ones, the ones that you twist and then put in. They suck in pretty hard so I've had a few break in the past but I just pulled them out with tweezers. This time it seems to have sucked itself in too far.

like SparkPlugs? I use them all the time and cant imagine how they could break. Even after the cat's been at them (for some reason one actively tries to get into my drawer to steal them) they look fine.

He didn't actually say that he still had them in his ear... He said that he stuck stuff in his ear to get the headphones out, which caused bleeding, hence the need for A&E.

I don't think he still had the headphones in his ear when he posted this thread.
