A facebook group question

Just noticed that theres a group on Facebook called "Kent Uni Pakistani Society". Now is it me or would it be seen as fairly unacceptable to create a group called "Kent Uni English/British society?". Im not thinking of doing this, I simply want to know if it's just me who thinks this is a little odd.

It's not odd at all. It wouldn't be unacceptable for there to be a 'Ohio University British Society'.

on the Manchester one there's a bring back the British empire group :p

there's a bunch of people in a foreign country its nice to know there's others from your home that you can speak to.
 
Yea it didn't bother me, dont get me wrong!! I was simply stating if there was a group for english people, would it be seen as the same!?

I'm gonna go conquer France before lunch and add that to the empire.

Just start the bloody group and see what happens.

All this bloody PC whining... Just do it and see if anyone cares. I can all but guarantee that they won't.
