Wow, guess where the gorgeous weather has been today! It's been miserable here.

Really nice photos. I like the texture of the sand photo. The lake photo is also lovely. It looks so peaceful.

The top photo is like a picture post card

The second photo doesn't do a lot for me, but the other three are great, the first is the best IMO, it is stunning

Stuart38 - the first pic is a single exposure with some levels work on the sky and some slight burning on the clouds.

Excellent stuff there, the detail in the water is quite remarkable!

I wanted to go out with the camera today for some summer shots but its just rained all day here

The third shot is excellent, the best of the bunch.

However I would have darkened it slightly to bring out the blue sky a little bit

Strax - I've had a few problems with that 3rd shot. I have balanced the image via levels etc and the tiff looks great. For some reason the uploaded jpeg seems to lose the adjustments!
