This afternoon I finally got some time to myself between assignments to process some shots for my own enjoyment! For the first time in ages managed not square crop and duotone everything - decided on some straight mono conversions instead, sometimes simplest is best.

love that first one. A great leading line from your primary subject. The overal look with the clouds looks almost water painting like.

The contrast is really nice with the fly on the flower. I also think its a simple shot that just works very well without having to be at a super macro zoom.

Hehe thanks. I have to restrain myself from squaring almost every shot I take... I should really buy a medium format setup
