I went into town today and bought the Samsung E900 from Vodafone on the Anytime 200 plan.
Loving the phone at the moment but i cant use it till the 21st because i have to wait for my old number to be ported over. Oh well, at least i can put all my pics and vids on it.
The phone is great and to be honest the Samsung software isnt too bad at all. It took me 5 mins to get used to the touch sensitive buttons so no problems there.
And yes... i had to take off all those crappy sounds Samsung put on it. You touch a button it'll make a noise, you slide it, it makes a noise etc. Way too many noises for my liking.
I just finished using the USB connection with my phone and it is very good actually. Easy to use and quicker than Bluetooth.
I want to know if it is possible to:
Stop the phone going into sleep mode when you leave it for a minute. I would prefer the screen to stay on so i know it is on by just glacing at it.
Have a melody and vibration at the same time. I read somewhere that it is possible to program polyphonic tones so they have vibration in them. How do i do this?
