As Title.

My girlfriend is in Florida for two weeks, and she misses my birthday. So obviously i want a bargain pressie over there!

What would you ask for if you were in this situation. Ive been thinking about Ipod etc, but recently ordered some pc parts, so maybe some PC hardware (nothing major) could be an idea.

Im stuck for ideas.

Thanks!

PS3 :D

a house

Alternatively a pair of shure e4c would do nicely (some shops in the UK are selling these for £200!).

Clothes!

They are WAY cheaper in the US than here...WAY cheaper.

£100 would get you a lot of nice stuff.

PC parts (my cousin tells me) are not actually that much cheaper over there.

Personally, I'd go with a PSP since I'm planning on buying one and they are nearly half the price over there. Plus games are region free.

Bringing stuff back over, is it easy?

I need a new hard drive for my pc really, if she can get one cheap that might be an idea. Im just worried she will get stitched at customs

Ive been trying to look on some US sites , which is tricky actually cos i dont know any lol. But the prices are a lot cheaper on some things, but only marginally on others.

i want either a Tuniq tower, or a new hard drive.

If i knew a big store in florida that sold them, i would tell her, but im clueless lol

:) Everything is cheaper here!! :p even the stuff made in England!!
Thats what I cant understand!
Tell her to look for shops such as BestBuy or CircuitCity or HH Gregg (some big electronic department stores) and then to phone/email you once there!

A mini Cooper S Works for $19k !!!
Taking gifts back is not a problem - specially is she unwraps and delabels it - thats what I do :)

He should know since he lives there.

Cheaper, yes, but not a lot.

Its only cheaper because of the silly $$$ value at the moment. Its not like clothes or trainers that are always cheaper in the states, if the $$$ value is normal then they would be the same price here.

So you're all right really :p

Shes just been on the phone.

I asked if she has seen a circuit city, and shes unsure. But she says there is lots of shops round about. And there is a Nike outlet place near where she is. She says they have some top trainers that would be about 100 quid over here.. and they were $56

Ive got a $200 budget for my birthday present.

Hmmm!

Fry's Electronics, CompUSA & BestBuy are other popular USA computer / electronics store.

Hopefully mentioning USA highstreet stores won't count as OcUK competitors!
