A good PSP game for a quick 10 minute blast

Hey all.

I am getting a bit bored with GTA:LCS on PSP so I am thinking of trading it in for something on the PSP that offers a quick blast that you can pick up for 10 minutes and play without getting tied too much into a story line.

I have seen things like Tony hawks:U2 remix and things like that but I'm unsure actually how good they are. (I have found mixed game reviews so I prefer to go by real peoples thoughts).

Any reccomendations?

Just thought I would add I had NFS:MW on the psp and hated it.

I still think you can't beat Everybody's Golf for a quick pick up and play.

Hmmmm not really into Golf games tbh. I have played them before on a console but I found them quite boring.

Want something with a bit more action.

I know you said action games, but you could worse than take a look at Lumines. Quite an engrossing puzzle game once you get into it.

I was getting bored of GTA aswell, bought Burnout and am absolutely loving it, perfect for a quick road rage or crash junction!

The good thing about it is that there is no storyline and it doesn't try to be anything other than a fun, speed/crash experience!

Hmm I did see Burnout in Game, looked pretty good.

That socom game does sound good but I think I wouldn't be able to put it down.

Burnout is fantastic, if you like arcade racers and crashing to a rock soundtrack then it's a must!

Not action but Mercury is a good pick up and play game.

I have seen that mercury but I don't think I would enjoy it too much. (it will be my only game on the psp). I want something with a bit more action to be honest.

I am leaning towards burnout atm.

Has anyone played tony hawks undeground 2: Remix on the psp? If so what is it like?

Burnout is great for short blasts.

I've played tony hawkes and I don't think it's anywhere near as good as the ps2 or gamecube versions of the series. SSX on tour is fab however for a quick blast and there are different modes and mountains with multiple lines on each course, great vfm.

Oooh yeh! I also have ssx, it is great for quick games. Plenty to keep you going as well.

Just got Pinball classics today for £19.99. Great game and ideal for a quick blast.
But reackon everyones golf is the ideal pick up and play game.
