A great day out.. And all free.....

Went to Sherburn Airfield on Monday to a small airshow (or what I thought was gonna be small) only to find thousands of spectators there enjoying a great day out with free admission, The kind I like.. :nuts:

Took hundreds of shots and here is a few to view..

Shot 6 - The lower right buildings are a bit distracting but the heli is lovely and sharp

Yeah, I've seen loads of people recently using the 100-400L with that hood

I like the second Shot !! You got the blades in a nice position, and perfect shuttert speed to show the rotation.

That's not the hood I got with my 100-400 either.

Whats the benifit of that hood ? over the one supplied ?

I'm thinking it's a 28-300L IS in which case it is the right hood. There seems to be very little other differences between the two lenses.
