Geography is actually an excellent subject to take at A level because it is not considered a soft subject and a lot of places (including Bristol!) put it in the same group as a science. It's also a humanity, has essay writing skills, and is an all round 'helpful' subject to have when it comes to uni. I also found it dead easy, but that's irrelevant.
A 'perfect' set of A levels imo is Maths, Bio/Chem/Phys, English, History/Geography/Computing (depending on what you want to get into, Computing A level can be surprisingly helpful).
Do 4 if you can do them well, unis like that. They were impressed I did 5 even though I screwed up and got Cs in two of them (A*AACC was my final overall A level results in Geography, Computing, Maths, Physics, Further Maths).
