It's a 190bhp almost 3 litre V6. In 1996 when the Scorpio was on the market there was absolutely nothing standout about that. The 528i was the same, as was the Omega Elite etc. An Omega Elite Estate was quite a thing too but you wouldn't use one of those as a weekend toy either
Even the Saab 9000 was kicking out 230BHP back then.
